Birthday Bump
I decided not to write the Roundup this morning as a little birthday gift to myself, taking the time I would normally dedicate to rounding posts and describing why they resonated with me to drink coffee and bother Linus. Happy birthday to me?
I love writing the Roundup, so I feel a little weird saying that I’m taking the week off as a gift to myself. But I think y’all know what I mean.
This has been such a strange week of highs and lows.
43 is a prime number; a prime birthday. You only get so many of those in a lifetime. Let’s say you live until you’re 100 years old. You’d only get 25 prime birthdays in there. Prime birthday years feel solid. They feel indivisible; like you can’t take the year into smaller chunks. They scream out for people to start and complete a big project.
A prime birthday in my prime, right?

Happy Birthday!
Well, since I seem to be rounding out the next prime birthday (47), and have completed no big projects, I’m going to say that a prime birthday is just another day. But then, I am completely unsentimental regarding my birthday. I hope you have a fantastic prime year in your prime!
Happy birthday!
Happy birthday, birthday buddy. My Timehop this morning showed me nine years that we’ve been wishing each other happy birthday.
Grattis på födelsedagen! You are most certainly in your prime. Emjoy your coffee and conversation with Linus.
Happy birthday!!
Happy birthday! In my numerology universe (that I don’t take at all seriously), I don’t like prime numbers. My favourite numbers are divisible by 3. But I like your interpretation of prime numbers; it’s more positive. I happen to be in a prime number year as well so I’ll go with it.
Happy prime birthday! I too am fascinated by prime numbers, and during the years when I am in the prime (so to speak), it seems they are just a bit more unique.
Especially for you now, coming out of 42, which is divisible by prime numbers 2, 3, and 7. You are, for the coming year, indivisible!
Happy birthday Mel!!!
Happy birthday!
Happiest of days! Enjoy 43!
Damn … I missed my window to start a project. 😉 But I did certainly start to explore what indivisibility meant this year … maybe that’s a theme! Happy birthday, friend … may it be a year full of joy and discovery.
Prime birthday! That’s a good way to look at this coming year. Happy happy birthday!!!
I’m also turning a prime number this year but mine sounds more like past my prime–49. I still feel young inside though!
Happy birthday June baby!
And…I just realized 49 is not prime. For some reason I was thinking 47. See, I do feel younger! Not that I was a science major that did well at math or anything…
Happy birthday! Enjoy your weekend!
A very happy prime birthday to you! I’m glad you took the time for a treat of coffee and Linus!
What do you think you are in the prime of? Health? Wisdom? Intelligence? Life Satisfaction? Earning Power? Energy? Stamina? Creativity? Loving? Community involvement? What do you think you will lose in the next 43 years? What will you gain?
Happy Birthday to you! I love your observation that 43 is a prime number. Here’s hoping that portends a good year.
Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday! I, for one, am so thankful to have stumbled across your blog and, well, you! Thank you for being a beacon of light for all of us lost, infertile people surrounded by fertile myrtles. Happy Birthday to you!
Happy (belated now) birthday! I hope the rest of your day was equally relaxing and enjoyable!
Happy (belated) birthday! Hope you had a wonderful day and best wishes for the year ahead! May it truly be prime in the good sense of the word.
Happy belated birthday, Mel! I love what you do and I love you, gorgeous human being, who have so many times made me do better than I could.
Happy belated prime birthday! How exciting, to go from the answer to everything to a prime. I hope you had a wonderful celebration and a great project in the year ahead.
Happy belated birthday, Mel! 🙂
