#Microblog Mondays 177: Delurk
Not sure what #MicroblogMondays is? Read the inaugural post which explains the idea and how you can participate too.
*******
I’ve been celebrating International Blog Delurking Week (the first week in January) for 11 years. 11 times I’ve asked the people who silently read to raise their hand for one comment and then go back to silently reading.
And then this year I forgot. We were all the way through the week when Parul wrote and said, “Uh, aren’t you doing International Blog Delurking Week?” Thank you, Parul, for reminding me AND for making the badge this year.
So if you are reading, let me know you are reading by simply saying, “here!” or anything else you want to say.

Are you also doing #MicroblogMondays? Add your link below. The list will be open until Tuesday morning. Link to the post itself, not your blog URL. (Don’t know what that means? Please read the three rules on this post to understand the difference between a permalink to a post and a blog’s main URL.) Only personal blogs can be added to the list. I will remove any posts that are connected to businesses or are sponsored post.

I have never celebrated International Delurking Week but I remember seeing it on your blog. It’s a great way of finding who our silent readers are 🙂
I am here and I love your Microblog Mondays. I think that was how I got to know you and have been around on and off. It was through you that I got to know of IBDW. So, thank you for the mention. Hope 2018 is turning out to good so far. <3
I’m here! Always reading, rarely commenting…and I do not monitor my blog email regularly and just realized you typically respond to my comments via email and I never respond because I don’t check it often (so sorry! I’m not trying to be super rude!). I’ve changed that and added it to my phone so I see the emails coming in!
I’m here! (I’m always here, lol. 😉 But you knew that…! ) Here/blogging 10+ years now, coming up to the 20-year mark since my one & only failed pregnancy. Blogging got me through the 10-year mark & I am so glad you & my other online friends are still here to see me through year #20 too. 🙂
I’m reading..although no idea how I got here!
I might just read some more. 🙂
Here! For the past 11 years. Probably one of your unlurkiest lurkers ever.
I come here every Mondays when u do this microblogging post .
Here in Denver, CO.
I am here. It’s been a bit of a lurky year for me, so trying to comment more in general
I read, and I try to comment more often than I lurk! 🙂 Love this Delurking Week idea, and of course Microblog Mondays because it brings a lot of people together who might not otherwise meet.
I’m here and have participated in International Blog Delurking Week. I’ve not had any response in the last two times I’ve participated but hope this year people do respond !
I’m here! I saw one blogger that participated. I hadn’t heard about it before this year.
I’m here too. I’ve been blogging for eleven years, and I’m even doing a repeat this year of the project that started me blogging in 2006, with some of the same people.
I’d like to do this on my own blog. But what if no-one is lurking?
Ive never heard of delurking, but here I am. Last year my blogging took a backseat but I hope to be around more this year.
I am glad someone keeps tabs on all the dates/events. 🙂

Hi
::scurries back in::
Well I’m no lurker but surprise I’m still here. I like the random nature of your blog. It never feels like you are overthinking it.
I’m here and read because I appreciate your writing style and that you post on a regular basis. I don’t think we have very similar lives, but I like reading about your life.
Here, from Sydney Australia! Really enjoy your writing.
Hi! I love delurking week!
Here! I am a terrible lurker. With my crazy work hours, I rarely get to read or post during the week, and by the weekend, it feels too late, so I lurk. I’m trying to be better, since I get so much out of knowing how others are doing.
Still here. 😘
Here! Happy New Year! Thanks for doing this every Monday. It gives me a place to start– a focus every work week when otherwise I might be more scattered. xo
Apologies for scraping in at last minute and not being micro! My first URL doesn’t work – sorry! But I come in the spirit of not lurking.
Lurking is so easy to do. Thanks for encouraging us to get out there and comment.
Hei! Moi! Moro! (<–Finnish hellos.)
Hi ! I am here (Better late than never)… did you know that the third Monday of January is supposedly “the most depressing day in the year”…

I’m here!! Trying to keep my head above water currently with all the sickness in my house that’s on some unending loop.
Here.
Whoops! I missed commenting during the actual week but I’m here!
