#Microblog Monday 345: Words
Not sure what #MicroblogMondays is? Read the inaugural post which explains the idea and how you can participate too.

Cutchicle: a small, rounded lump or crust; as in, “the roasted chicken was crusted with glistening cutchicles.”
Or not.
You can find your own non-exist word on the site. My favourites so far are thimblet—though I’m not loving the definition (“fish of a predatory family that includes the sea bass, tuna, and king trout”)—and quintuque (“the first paragraph or so of a book, chapter, or speech as a whole”).
Which words did you find?

Are you also doing #MicroblogMondays? Add your link below. The list will be open until Tuesday morning. Link to the post itself, not your blog URL. (Don’t know what that means? Please read the three rules on this post to understand the difference between a permalink to a post and a blog’s main URL.) Only personal blogs can be added to the list. I will remove any posts that are connected to businesses or are sponsored post.

Yay. Going out of daylight savings time means I can now link into microblog Mondays before midnight my time!
I found “analectopia”
a condition in which a half of the eye is injured especially so requiring specialist care
and
“treadful”
concerned or slightly concerned.
I found kitsubo: a person who rides in skis in an awkward position or out of the way of another vehicle- I like the sound of the word more than the definition.
And dobnitely: in a way that is typically oblique or less oblique
This reminds me of playback theatre meeting between Spaniards and Portuguese where we wanted to work on non verbal communication. Our director wanted to work with non existent words and we spent a big part of our travel making up words, just putting random letters together.
That was so much fun, and it was even more fun seeing how people interpreted those words through how they sounded.
I got glastronik: 1) a glaciated region of New Zealand. Fun!
How fun! Um, the description of “cutchicle” made me want to yark. Reminded me too much of “corpuscle.” Love thimblet though!
okay, so this is cheating but I couldn’t resist. There is a word I made up years ago that I love. (Pardon my ego.) “Bladlock”: That sudden urge to go to the bathroom when you arrive home and your key goes into the lock of the front door.
