#Microblog Monday 396: Goodbye, A.B.
Not sure what #MicroblogMondays is? Read the inaugural post which explains the idea and how you can participate too.

The Israeli writer, A.B. Yehoshua died last week. I found out on Facebook, which is always such an odd thing — to see the end of a life sandwiched between a post about gardening and another about graduation.
His books defined my mid-twenties. My late-twenties. My early thirties. It has been a long time since I picked up one of his books, but there was a time when he was my go-to, my touchstone, my favourite.
It’s sad to lose a writer, but I feel lucky that I still have his books.

Are you also doing #MicroblogMondays? Add your link below. The list will be open until Tuesday morning. Link to the post itself, not your blog URL. (Don’t know what that means? Please read the three rules on this post to understand the difference between a permalink to a post and a blog’s main URL.) Only personal blogs can be added to the list. I will remove any posts that are connected to businesses or are sponsored post.

Mel, you are an absolute star. Thank you for your kindness mentioning my blog and thank you for your lovely message alerting me to the fact WordPress had changed it’s settings once again meaning people couldn’t comment on my latest blog! I am doing ok, until the next chemo this Wednesday when I’ll be AWOL for a while due to after effects. But all in all, doing ok. Always enjoy reading what you write. Thanks again xx
