#Microblog Monday 431: Teeny Tiny Jam Jars
Not sure what #MicroblogMondays is? Read the inaugural post which explains the idea and how you can participate too.

I feel so seen. Lifehacker gave seven reasons to hoard Bonne Maman jars. Only seven? I can give you at least fifty because I often have to trot out my reasons when Josh insists that we have too many teeny tiny jam jars, and this needs to stop.
I am currently using three to test a self-watering plant system that I rigged using a wicking string. If it works well, I’ll need many more for the rest of the plants. I make salad dressing in one every night (put on the lid and shake). I drink out of them. Yes, they are spilling out of cabinets, but how does one get rid of them when they’re so cute?

Are you also doing #MicroblogMondays? Add your link below. The list will be open until Tuesday morning. Link to the post itself, not your blog URL. (Don’t know what that means? Please read the three rules on this post to understand the difference between a permalink to a post and a blog’s main URL.) Only personal blogs can be added to the list. I will remove any posts connected to businesses or sponsored posts.

I’ve never heard of Bonne Maman. I thought it probably wasn’t available in Canada, but I Googled, and it is — Walmart Canada carries it, for one. Hmmm….
I love tiny things, these jars sound adorable! And re-using is better than throwing those jars away or recycling them. You could make tiny vases out of them and give little jars of joy to people in the spring, or line a windowsill! You could plant seedlings! Your self-watering gadget is genius. Go little jars, go!
My husband wanted to save all the mason jars for drinking glasses. I do not care for them, yet they are still in the cabinet. My daughter got a tiny mason jar – I was going to recycle it, but she said it’s too cute to get rid of. I have a tiny bit of jam left in my Bonne Maman jar, but I will likely recycle it when I finish it. But if you want really tiny ones, you should get their Advent calendar. 🙂
I don’t need reasons to hoard things. I’m already an expert at justifying my stashes. But this made me smile!
