#Microblog Monday 500: Milestone Microblog Monday
Not sure what #MicroblogMondays is? Read the inaugural post which explains the idea and how you can participate too.

Say that title ten times fast. This is the original idea for Microblog Mondays. You didn’t have to keep it short, but I suggested short posts because I thought it would be easier, especially because tiny thoughts were ruling the day on social media.
This is the 500th week of doing it, and it will be ten years old in September.
Thank you if you’ve contributed a post. And if you haven’t, here is your chance to dust off your blog and put up an update.

Are you also doing #MicroblogMondays? Add your link below. The list will be open until Tuesday morning. Link to the post itself, not your blog URL. (Don’t know what that means? Please read the three rules on this post to understand the difference between a permalink to a post and a blog’s main URL.) Only personal blogs can be added to the list. I will remove any posts connected to businesses or sponsored posts.

Amazing milestone and great idea, Mel! I’m grateful for the weekly nudge to post something, and it’s always fun to click over and see what others are posting too! And I’ve managed to contribute a post more weeks than not. 🙂
Good grief, Mel, it’s hard enough to say, “Microblog Monday” let alone “Milestone Microblog Monday,” let alone ten times! lol
500 weeks, ten years, is amazing! Pat yourself on the back. (If I lived closer, we could all get together and celebrate in person. How cool would that be?)
Microblog Mondays has kept me blogging, kept me reading, and kept me as part of this community. And I thank you enormously for that! It was a great idea. Back in the day, when I blogged more often than once a week, I did adhere to keeping it “micro,” but these days it’s just a Monday prompt. I haven’t made every week, but I’m pretty sure I’ve done more than anyone else (even you? lol) because most weeks I’ve written a post on No Kidding in NZ, and also on A Separate Life. Yes, I’m insane. But without you, I doubt I’d still be writing.
Sending love and gratitude.
